May thus far
For Mothers Day Patsy made me a cookbook as school. We have been trying all kinds of recipes out of it. Our favorite one so far is the homemade brownies!!! SO good! Can you tell by their faces!
Celebrity day at school. Patsy went as Marilyn Monroe and Monroe went as Barbie.
Monroe lost another tooth!! I am also very excited that Monroe has taken after my mom and gets a tan so easily! Summer hasn't even started and this girl has a good tan going on.
Here we are on Mom's Day at school. They sang some cute songs to us and we made a craft and had a cookie.

Little Houses
I LOVE Pandora!! The other day Aaron found the coolest station on Pandora that plays all the old country songs that were big when we were little. We have been having a lot of fun remembering all the songs. The other day we heard the song Little Houses by Doug Stone and I had forgotten all about that song! I love the lyrics to this song......... maybe this is why I love all of our little houses that we have lived in!
A little white house, in the heart of town,
On a little sad street, just a little run down,
Became a home, for Bill and Sue,
Two newlyweds, who did the best that they could do.
And when they brush each other, passin' in the hall,
Sue would smile and say: "This place is pretty small.
But you know, love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
Before too long, Sue and Bill,
Were makin' plans, for Jack and Jill.
Oh, happy day, when the news came in
But what to do, when they found out Sue was having twins.
When they could not pass each other in the hall,
Well, Sue would smile and say: "This place is really, really small.
But you know, love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
That little white frame house still keeps them warm,
Though it's been thirty-two years, since the kids were born,
And when they look back now, they hold each other tight,
And whisper in each other's ears: "You know you were right.
Because love grows best in little houses,
With fewer walls to separate,
Where you eat and sleep so close together.
You can't help but communicate,
Oh, and if we had more room between us, think of all we'd miss.
Love grows best, in houses just like this.
Yeah, love grows best, in houses just like this.

Monroe's teacher asked Aaron if he could come into their classroom and have a lesson on "teeth" Aaron has been going into elementary schools this whole year educating kids on hygiene and their teeth so he was really excited to get to teach Monroe's class. The kids were so cute and already knew so much about going to the dentist! I heard one kid telling another kid that he had nice big teeth so the dentist must have given him those teeth!
The kids thought that Aaron was pretty crazy!
Monroe being a big helper and passing out some toothbrushes!
