Since our weekends consist of Aaron studying all weekend we decided to head up to Payson to watch the the twins first High School rodeo and give us something to do while Aaron studied at my parents house. We first went to a stake acheivement day with Maizy, and Patsy was able to be in the skit that they had to do. Then we went to the high school rodeo and the girls had a ton of fun with their new friends that just moved here from Colonial Juarez, Mexico. The day started off warm and sunny and by the afternoon a huge storm moved in and forced everyone under this little covering which got flooded and so everyone jumped onto the picnic benches. The storm was really crazy with tons of lightning and thunder and hail!!! It lasted about an hour and then finally let up. The girls thought it was really cool because they both said that was the most rain they have ever seen!!! And Monroe said that was not teasing lightning that was the real thing!!!
Rex got inventive and used a soda pop can to keep from getting wet!!
