Beyond excited that I finally was able to get Pearl to sit long enough to take her picture!! I hope that this is a trend! She did have her stipulations though... she had to have her baba!
August 2011
August came and went! Wow! Here are a few pics from our August. We spent a lot of time in Payson, escaping the heat! Rodeo, Rodeo Parade, and a little hike that Aaron took the girls on.

Who knew irrigation was so fun
Floating under the bridge brought so much fun!! Even I did it with my extreme claustrophobia!!
Pearl kept watching kid after kid come from under the bridge and wanted to do it so bad! So, Aaron took her as well.
We even talked Ingeborg into it! Ingeborg is Brett and Lisa's new foreign exchange student from Norway. She is a lot of fun!

Back to school...
I can't believe that another school year has started already! They were so tired this morning!! No more sleeping in till 9! Plus it didn't help that we let them out of bed to run around in the rain at 10 o clock last night (hey, it may never rain again here!)
Time just seems to be flying! As I was reading in a book today, and I was thinking about the girl's going back to school and how our summer days are gone.
I found a really good poem that made me stop and think.
Slow Dance
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain just slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast.
Time is short, and the music won't last.
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you asked "How are you?' do you even hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in bed with a hundred things to do running through your head?
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast.
Time is short, and the music won't last.
Ever told a child "We'll do it tomorrow"?
Then, in your haste, not noticed the sorrow?
Ever lost touch and let a good friendship die?
'Cause you ever had time to call and say, "Hi."
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast.
Time is short, and the music won't last.
I will be forever grateful to my parents for always giving me time! My parents were always there growing up. I don't ever remember being put off until another day. We did everything as a family and I hope to never loose sight of that with my own family! When I was pregnant with Patsy I knew that I just wanted to be a mom and nothing else. I do not want to have any regrets or be fifty something and look back and say I should have....
Three girls later and we are still enjoying every minute with them!

End of year craziness...
Two kids out of each classroom received this reward for the year! We are so proud of Patsy and so glad that even at school she is showing good character!
The "Stalker" LOL Patsy was out on recess while they were doing this activity and I looked over and saw her staring so I had to snap a picture!
Monroe had water day at school!!
Monroe and her teacher!
All the little girls in Monroe's class
Maizy graduated 8th grade!!! YAY!!
We all got together and celebrated Aaron's parents 25th wedding anniversary!!
Monroe graduated kindergarten!!!! She has had a lot of fun being in the same classroom as her cousin!
Dance recital!!! The girls had a lot of fun doing their dances they have been working on all year! They had no idea what a recital was but they found out when they came out to do their dance and saw all the people there to watch them!
Pearl had her own recital going on!
Gigi and the girls! Pink doughnuts is a perfect way to end it with!!
And somewhere in this mess I turned the big 3-0!!!
